Asian polyvinyl chloride prices dipped $10/mt week on week to $1,010/mt CFR China Wednesday on the back of weak demand, while India prices rose $15/mt to $1,050/ mt CFR India on a deal concluded, and Southeast Asia remained stable at $1,020/mt CFR Southeast Asia in thin discussions. Market participants said Chinese producers had stopped making fresh deals to India after the Indian government introduced new anti-dumping duties on homopolymer suspension grade PVC imports from Taiwan, China, US, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced late Monday.
