EDC: Asian ethylene dichloride prices were assessed unchanged week on week at $440/mt CFR Far East Asia, and down $2/mt at $438/mt CFR Southeast Asia Thursday. With most participants satisfied with contractual volumes, the spot market was quiet, without many offers or bids heard this week. A Southeast Asia-origin cargo bound for China in July was heard concluded at $440/mt CFR. Deepsea cargoes were heard concluded below $435/mt CFR China, and offers were heard at $440-450/mt CFR China.
