US monoethylene glycol spot prices were assessed Friday at 42.50-43.50 cents/lb FOB USG, down 2 cents week on week. Bids were heard in the 41-42 cents/lb range, while sellers were heard offering product at 44 cents/lb, leading to expectations from some in the market that it would be difficult to complete deals until the two sides come closer. No confirmed deals were heard Friday.
