European prices for polyethylene terephthalate inched further down this week, although based on feedstock declines, producers have been able to regain some margin. Further declines were expected in March, but on a smaller scale than February. Freely negotiated contracts were assessed at Eur1,095-1,100/mt FD NWE and GBP905- 910/mt FD UK Wednesday, down Eur10/mt and GBP10/ mt, respectively, week on week.
