Delivered prices for spot US PET were assessed Wednesday at $1,477/mt DDP US West Coast (67 cents/lb), unchanged week on week. Delivered prices were heard in the 66-68 cents/lb range, with China-origin material talked cheaper than product from the US or other regions. Bids were heard as low as 63 cents/lb, with offers talked closer to 70 cents/lb. Asian-origin PET has also been finding its way into Central America and the Caribbean in the mid-to-low 60 cents/ lb level, a US-based trader source said.
