The CFR China PVC marker fell $5/mt week on week to be assessed at $1,035/mt Wednesday in thin trading and weaker buying sentiment. Taiwan-origin cargoes were offered around $1,040/mt CFR China, against buying ideas heard at $1,010-1,020/mt CFR China. A source said end-users held sufficient inventory due to lower downstream demand and were waiting for Taiwan’s Formosa it make initial April offers before making any purchases.
