European polyethylene terephthalate spot prices were assessed at Eur1,060-1,065/mt FD NWE this week, down Eur13/mt, as typical seasonal demand failed to materialize. UK prices were valued at GBP880-885/mt FD UK, largely stable on the week, despite Britain enjoying unusually warmer weather in the past few days. Looking forward, sources said the weather was an important factor to watch. PET supply in Europe remained healthy during the week with no shortages reported.
