The US acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene assessment was steady week on week at 121 cents/lb delivered railcar Wednesday as participants eyed feedstocks for possible lower pricing in November. ABS prices continued to be talked in the low 120s cents/lb delivered this week, but a source with a producer said prices could drop to 119-120 cents/ lb delivered in November because of the recent decline in feedstocks, specifically styrene, which sources said makes up as much as 65% of ABS. However, the source added prices could remain fairly stable in the low 120s cents/lb if ABS supply got tighter.
