Stability in the European polypropylene spot market prevailed this week as spot prices closed Wednesday at Eur1,240-1,245/mt FD NWE. The market has been flat since March 5 on stable supply/demand fundamentals, sources said. One trader added: “The market is still very soft. I don’t see so much demand, we have a normal soft month, there is nothing extraordinary.” This was not a view shared by all sources, however, and one producer countered that there was strong demand for PP.
