Asian propylene prices rose across the region this week, bolstered by supply constraints and healthy downstream demand in the key polypropylene market. The CFR China marker rose $5/mt week on week to be assessed at $1,425/ mt Friday. Several North Asian producers said they had been receiving more buying inquiries from traders but were unable to offer propylene spot cargoes.
