Nominations for the March US butadiene contract price have come out higher than the February US butadiene contract. LyondellBasell nominated up 10 cents/lb from its February contract price to 86 cents/lb, while Shell Chemical nominated 8 cents/lb higher from its February contract price to 84 cents/lb, sources said Friday. ExxonMobil had nominated up 3 cents/lb from its February contract price to 86 cents/lb, sources said Thursday. Producer confirmation on the nominations were unavailable.
