RusVinyl to launch ‘trial’ PVC production in Q2: market source

London — RusVinyl, a Russian-Belgian joint venture, is expected to launch a trial run of PVC production in the second quarter and then operate at full capacity from July, a PVC converter source with operations in Europe and Russia said Thursday. “I had a meeting in Moscow about four weeks ago, and a representative for RusVinyl told me that they will produce their first trial volumes of PVC at a low rate in the second quarter and then start regular sales in July,” the source said, adding, “They will then increase the volumes to 100% until the end of the year.”
