Low-density polyethylene import assessments rose modestly in Peru, with slow demand acting as a counterbalance to strong offer levels from the US and Asia, sources said Wednesday. The CFR Peru assessment rose $10/mt week on week to $1,770-$1,780/mt, with offers for US-origin material heard higher at $1,820/mt CFR basis.
