EDC: The Northwest European EDC spot price was assessed at Eur410/mt, up Eur12.50/mt, from Eur397.50/ mt last week. One source reported a trade at the Eur410/ mt level late last week by a European manufacturer. Looking ahead, another source anticipated a stable market as buyers would likely be wary about buying EDC at current high prices and would find it hard to justify such high levels because feedstock costs were stable. In Asia, EDC prices were unchanged at $495/mt CFR Far East Asia.
