Asian polypropylene prices edged up this week but ended Wednesday below peaks seen last Thursday and Friday. The PP raffia/injection markers were assessed at $1,448/ mt CFR Far East Asia Wednesday, up $3/mt week on week, and at $1,465/mt CFR Southeast Asia and $1,470/mt CFR South Asia, up $5/mt over the same period. Prices rose last Thursday and Friday as end users returned to the market to restock. Trades were concluded at $1,450/mt CFR China late last week.
