US PVC export prices were down $10/mt week on week, assessed Wednesday at $1,020-1,030/mt FAS Houston, in a thinly traded market, with minimal export availability and lackluster demand from final buyers. Two trades were reported for April deliveries both for 500 mt — one March shipment heard in the range of $1,110-1,120 CFR North Africa, followed by another March shipment at $1,120- 1,130 CFR Algeria. Financing terms were not immediately disclosed. In domestic markets, OxyVinyls announced an increase of its suspension-grade PVC prices by 3 cents/ lb starting April 1, according to a company letter sent to its customers Monday.
