Northwest European polystyrene contract prices meandered sideways in the third week of the month, assessed at Eur1,530/mt ($2,128/mt) FD NWE for general purpose grade PS and Eur1,630/mt FD NWE for high impact grade material. Upstream, key feedstock styrene monomer spot prices staged a substantial rally in the week, rising $67.50/mt or 4.3% to $1,644.50/ mt FOB ARA.
