European high density polyethylene prices were pressurized lower by the fall in the March European ethylene contract price. The ethylene CP was fully settled Tuesday, at Eur1,180/mt FD NWE for March, down Eur20/ mt on the month, due to length in the ethylene market and softer naphtha compared with January. In the spot market, blowmolding and film prices fell below Eur1,200/ mt FD NWE for the first time since the end of October and mid-May, respectively, at Eur1,192.50/mt FD NWE, down Eur10/mt on the week.
