European ethylene spot prices continued to slip as bearish fundamentals gripped the market, sources said this week. Demand was outstripped by supply as derivative offtake was weak, they claimed. An import cargo was heard fixed out of Europe. However, this was an inter-company transfer rather than a direct sale, sources said. “Yet, it represents the length in the market,” a buyer noted.
