US linear low density polyethylene domestic contracts rose 4 cents in March, according to multiple sources, who confirmed that producers were able to implement increases that were originally nominated for February. LLDPE contracts were assessed Wednesday at 70-71 cents/lb for delivered rail cars, up 4 cents/lb from the previous month. Nova Chemical and Formosa Plastics were also able to implement contract increases after delaying them from February.
