Some European PVC producers were ready to accept October contracts at discounts as low as minus Eur20/ mt from September this week following the recent drop in feedstock costs, sources said. One producer source said it had been a very difficult month so far, adding: “Prices have already started to erode for October, although some of our competitors have a rollover position.”
