Asian styrene monomer prices rose $39/mt week on week to be assessed at $1,651/mt FOB Korea and by the same amount to $1,681/mt CFR China Friday, mainly due to tight prompt supply in China, but unchanged from the previous day. Spot cargo inventory in eastern China has fallen by about 15,000 mt week on week to 60,000 mt, the lowest level heard since January, market sources said Thursday.
