Singapore — China’s benzene imports continued to climb for the fourth consecutive month this year, up 20.8% month on month to cross the 100,000 mt threshold at 100,928 mt in April, data released Wednesday by China’s General Administration of Customs showed. Chinese demand for imported benzene surged in April amid stable FOB Korea prices in the absence of fundamental changes in the global and domestic benzene market.
