Butadiene prices continued to retreat in Northwest Europe this week as trading was punctuated by holidays and buyers were absent from the market. Import possibilities from Asia remained unworkable, traders said, as demand was weak in both regions and price differentials insufficiently wide to encourage transcontinental movement.
