In Brazil, the February contract price is expected to remain stable as the NWE February ethylene CP rolled from the prior month at $1,275/mt. Brazil utilizes the NWE CP for guidance on setting its own contract price. NWE ethylene spot prices have been supported mid-month as a result of tight supply as the industry prepares for the wave of turnarounds in Europe that are expected to begin in March.
