Asian acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene was assessed down $20/ mt week on week to $1,910/mt CFR China and $1,960/mt CFR Southeast Asia Wednesday amid falling feedstock prices and sluggish demand. However, producers in both South Korea and China have cut back production recently and offers and selling prices were heard at mostly similar levels as the week before. The exception was Taiwan’s Chi Mei, which cut its list price of ABS by $40/mt to $1,960/mt this week.
