Contract nominations for the August US butadiene contract price were heard 20-26 cents/lb ($441-573/mt) lower than July in a range from 40-47 cents/lb ($882-$1,036/mt), sources said this week. TPC Group and Shell Chemical were heard nominating 26 cents lower from July at 40 cents/ lb, while ExxonMobil also was heard nominated down 26 cents from July to 47 cents/lb, sources said. LyondellBasell was heard nominating 20 cents lower from July at 46 cents/ lb, sources said. Producer confirmation on the nominations was unavailable.
