European high density polyethylene prices continued to be weighed down by ample supplies, sources said this week. One European producer said they were saw a Eur50/mt decrease. “Converters are looking for higher decreases, this is not realistic,” he said, adding that while demand was not excellent, converters were seeking November volumes, reflecting a bottoming out of prices.
