EDC: Asian ethylene dichloride prices was assessed flat week on week at $405/mt CFR Far East Asia and $415/ mt CFR Southeast Asia Thursday. A Japanese trader offered April cargoes at $430/mt CFR Far East Asia while another Japanese trader offered April/May cargoes at $420-430/mt CFR Far East Asia. Discussions were ongoing with bids heard at around $400/mt CFR Far East Asia, unchanged from last week. Unconfirmed deals were heard at $405-410/mt CFR Far East Asia. An early April loading deepsea cargo of 4,000-5,000 mt was heard offered in the high $300s/mt CFR Far East Asia. Sources said sentiment was softer this week, tracking feedstock ethylene prices. Ethylene prices tumbled $65/mt week on week to $1,340/mt CFR Northeast Asia Thursday.
