Northwest European acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene contract values closed the month of July recording losses of Eur30/ mt to settle at Eur1,820/mt FD NWE. Upstream in feedstocks, the August contract price for European butadiene fully settled Tuesday, at Eur750/mt ($995/mt) FD Northwest Europe, a slump of Eur250/mt compared with July’s CP, according to industry sources. The CP represented the lowest level since September 2008.
