Peru’s linear low-density polyethylene import market moved $30/mt higher week on week, assessed Wednesday at $1,520- $1,530/mt CFR basis, pushed up by higher offers for US-origin product and rising prices in Asia. US sellers were heard offering at $1,620/mt CFR Peru for volumes of 100/mt. However, no deals or other offers were heard in the market. A US-based trader that sells to Peru pegged the price at $1,550/mt CFR basis.
