Prices for polyethylene terephthalate in Europe were assessed stable week on week, on spot trades and freely negotiated contracts, as similar prices were heard but some improved sentiment was suggested. In the recycled PET market, prices for hot wash flake were assessed slightly lower at Eur1,005- 1,010/mt FD NWE and GBP860-865/mt FD UK as weak demand and lower virgin prices, combined with ample supply, continued to exert downward pressure.
