Asian PVC prices rose this week on the back of cautious sellers, low inventory and rising feedstock costs. Prices rose $22.50/mt week on week to $980/mt CFR China, $15/mt to $975/mt CFR Southeast Asia and $2.50/mt to $997.50/ mt CFR India. Asia’s largest PVC producer Taiwan’s Formosa Plastics Tuesday hiked its offers for June-loading cargoes by $30/mt from May, a company source said.
