Polypropylene demand in Mexico was expected to remain healthy in May and into June as North American propylene prices appeared to have reached a floor, sources said this week. The US propylene contract price settled at a 1-cent/ lb ($22/mt) discount to April at 62 cents/lb ($1,367/mt) delivered for polymer-grade, after falling 10 cents/lb in March.
