Asia low density polyethylene was assessed up $15 week on week at $1,410/mt CFR Far East Asia and $1,420/mt CFR Southeast Asia Wednesday. Discussion was thin due to the ChinaPlas conference held in Guangzhou this week, and as buyers were still waiting for more June offers from Middle Eastern suppliers. LDPE has chalked up gains of $75/mt over the past four weeks and buyers have turned cautious, market watchers said.
