The spot acrylonitrile prices in Europe drifted lower again this week, shedding $35/mt week on week on low demand. “There is no movement. There could be one or two deals done, and that is it. There is no interest any more,” a trader said. Due to increased feedstock propylene cost, sellers continued to talk spot prices higher at around $2,000-2,050/mt, but most sources believed this range would continue to fail to draw interest, even from a buyer who urgently needed supply.
