March polypropylene offers in North Africa were pushed higher by sellers amid the high feedstock cost environment. Buying appetite however remained weak and those looking for products in the market were strongly resisting these increases, sources said. A producer said his offers for March were $20-30/mt above announced levels in February, bringing homo injection prices to $1,670-1,680/mt. Most sources however said most products were changing hands within the $1,600-1,650/mt range, adding that there were no indications that demand would pick up in March.
