Butadiene prices fell $20/mt to $3,480/mt CFR China Friday from Thursday last week on poor demand despite tighter availability due to an unexpected shutdown and impending turnarounds. Prices were not assessed last Friday due to a holiday in Singapore. End-users said offers hovered at $3,500-$3,600/mt CFR for May this week, but buyers were reluctant to conclude deals at more than $3,300/mt CFR.
