Demand in the US was quiet and supply available with no firm bids, offers or trades heard. Spot prices in Asia fell $61.50/mt this week to assessments of $1,416.50/mt CFR Taiwan/ China and $1,392.50/mt FOB Korea. Asian PX prices took a hit this week amid aggressive selling due to a bearish downstream purified terephthalic acid market.
