The European April propylene contract price had fully settled by Thursday at Eur1,105/mt ($1,415/mt) FD NWE, with several sources reporting reaching agreements with their respective counter-parties. The settlement represented a Eur50/mt decrease on March’s level. The initial settlement was concluded on Wednesday between propylene consumer Oxea and its supplier, Shell Chemicals, a source at Oxea said. Shell did not confirm the settlement. On Thursday, BP Refining and Petrochemicals followed the contract price with three of its customers: Oxea, Evonik and Ineos.
