The European acrylonitrile market maintained balance this week as prices remained rangebound at $1,760-1,765/mt CIF Med. Sources attributed the lack of price movement to an absence of change in market fundamentals. In addition, there were no significant developments in stock availability as the only significant production issue was that Lukoil’s ACN plant in Saratov will be operating at 50% of its capacity for the next three to five weeks, due to unplanned repairs.
