Asian propylene prices climbed this week. The FOB Korea/Japan marker was assessed Friday at $1,281/mt, up $27/mt week on week, while the CFR China and CFR Taiwan markers rose $32/mt over the same period to $1,351/mt and $1,341/mt, respectively. A H2 September loading cargo was traded Monday at $1,280/mt FOB Korea. Producers maintained offers this week at above $1,300/mt FOB Korea on strong crude. September ICE Brent crude futures crossed the $110/barrel mark Tuesday and were assessed Friday at $112.57/barrel at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT), up $5.58/b week on week.
