US PVC export prices declined $10 week on week, to reach a 5-month low assessed Wednesday at $895-905/mt FAS Houston, as sources reported substantial amounts of short selling taking place in areas usually considered primary targets for US product. US traders and producers were heard concluded with October shipments and were anticipating fresh offers from US producers. “We will not take anything [from producers] above 900/mt FAS Houston for November,” one trader source said.
