Asian propylene prices fell this week on bearish downstream polypropylene. The FOB Korea and Japan markers were assessed at $1,260/mt and $1,245/mt Friday, down $60/ mt week on week. The CFR China and CFR Taiwan markers were both down $50/mt over the same period at $1,310/ mt and $1,305/mt. An end March arrival cargo was traded Tuesday at $1,350/mt CFR China. Any April arrival cargoes were traded at $1,350-1,360/mt CFR China Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, offers for any April arrival cargoes were at $1,355/mt CFR China, while bids were at $1,330- 1,340/mt CFR China.
