In Mexico, the propylene CP was expected to increase 5% which is around $90-100/mt for April following the USGC contract prices movements with a month lag, a source at the producer Pemex said. In March, the Mexican propylene contract prices were at $1,494/mt FOB for PGP and at $1,307/mt FOB for chemical grade propylene. For March, propylene contract prices in Mexico jumped 20% ($300/mt) over February. A second source at Pemex said the company was still having problems with the Minatitlan expansion.
