The March formula PTA contract was at 68.1 cents/lb ($1,501/mt), and participants expected that since Asia's PX contract fell $65/mt, the US PX contract would fall by a similar amount and pull down PTA. If US PX falls by $65/mt, the PTA contract is anticipated to decrease $43.55/mt, or 1.98 cents/lb.
