Polypropylene assessments in Latin America were on the rise an average of $20-$30/mt week on week amid higher offers from regional producers as well as Asian and Middle East sellers. The CFR Peru assessment rose $30/mt to $1,550-$1,560/mt for homo polymer and $1,590-$1,600/mt for co-polymer amid higher offers from Asia, Oman, Colombia and Chile. Colombian producer Propilco was heard offering at $1,660/mt CFR basis for homo and $1,720/mt for co-polymer, with good availability and the shortest transit time, a Peruvian buyer said. Chile was offering homo polymer at $1,600/mt and co-pol and random at $1,660/mt, although with limited availability, the buyer said.
