US LDPE spot prices were talked this week notionally at 63-64 cents/lb FAS Houston as tightness persisted on the supply side. Sources continued to report limited availability for spot material but noted that prices were not yet at levels that would work to overseas markets. Accordingly, spot activity was muted with no confirmed trades reported. US prices were well above those in Asia where prices assessed this week up $6 to $1,248/mt CFR Far East Asia.
