Latin America's polypropylene market was calm as the Easter Holiday approached, with Platts price assessments remaining unmoved week on week. Indian offers to Peru were at the same levels compared to last week at $1,640/mt CFR for homo-polymer and at $1,680-1,700/mt CFR for co-polymer. Bids in the country were around $1,600/mt CFR for homo and at $1,640/mt CFR for co- polymer. "PP demand in the Peruvian market is very slow with buyers purchasing the minimum to balance inventories, and with the Easter Holiday it's going to drop even more," said one source.
