US spot acrylonitrile assessments resisted change for a second week as market participants awaited direction from feedstock April propylene contracts. Sources indicated that spot trade was sparse to start April, with one trade heard done, though confirmation on the price was unavailable by time of publication. "Acylonitrile may push up a little for H2 April. H1 [of April] was much the same as March," a source said. US ACN was assessed in a range of $2,255- 2,275/mt FOB USG. "The market is stuck in that range," the source said. "The market should be pretty tight right now."
